TEE's vehicle-mounted sensor platform combines high-resolution cameras, LiDAR, GNSS, inertial sensors, and onboard computing to capture pavement condition, transportation assets, and geospatial data with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

TEE's AI-powered Distress Detection system combines advanced machine learning and deep learning technologies to automate pavement condition assessment with exceptional speed and accuracy.

Built on more than five years of research and trained using over one million engineer-validated pavement images, the system analyzes georeferenced imagery collected by TEE's Automated Data Collection System to identify pavement distress type, extent, and severity.

By default, the platform generates Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ratings according to the ASTM D6433 standard, while also supporting additional pavement rating methodologies, including observational systems such as PASER. The result is a complete geodatabase of pavement imagery and condition information that supports both project-level and network-wide infrastructure management.
